Enough kick to keep a person entertained, but not too boozy.
Icy Blues is named after our song and is meant to be refreshing with a light fruit flavor. When it's done right, it should be a light blue and have lots of ice. It's a great summer drink, but it's wonderful enough to make you feel sunshiny on a cloudy day, too.
Like other cocktails from Rob's twisted imagination, this recipe was inspired as a less-complicated variation on the classic Singapore Sling.
1 oz. blue curaçao
1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. coconut rum
1/2 oz. kirschwasser
1 dash orange bitters
Put all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Serve in a rock glass with ice. Garnish with a cherry.
